Terms and Conditions of Sales

  1. McGraw-Hill Education Asia reserves the right to withhold further supplies in the event of any material breach of these terms and conditions or for any other reason which at the discretion of the company warrants such action.
  2. All goods sold will remain the property of McGraw-Hill Education Asia until payment has been received in full in respect of invoices raised for such goods.
  3. McGraw-Hill Education Asia shall not be held liable in any way for loss of trade or profit occurring to the customer in the event of delivery of the goods being frustrated or delayed by reason of fire, flood, accidents, riots, lockouts, trade disputes, acts or restraints of governments, the imposing of restrictions on exploration or from other causes not within reasonable control of the Company.
  4. All advertised prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  5. All amounts due are payable in the currency stated on the invoice. Payment by check and bank draft must be drawn in favor of "McGraw-Hill Education Asia". We also accept telegraphic transfer, credit transfer and Giro payment to the following bank accounts. Please ensure you quote your account number and invoice(s) being paid.

  6. Payment by MasterCard, Visa (both Singapore and US Dollar) and Amex (only for Singapore Dollar) are also acceptable. Please contact our customer service for further information.
  7. Interest may be charged at the rate of 2% per month on overdue balances. All costs including legal expenses, incurred in the recovery of overdue balances will be payable by the customer.
  8. Failure to settle overdue accounts may result in an interruption to supply.
  9. Claims for non receipt, short shipment and damaged will not be accepted unless notified within 30 days from the receipt or invoice date.
  10. No returns will be accepted for credit without written authorization.
  11. This agreement for the supply and sales of goods shall be governed by the laws of Singapore . The Singapore Courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute which has arisen or may arise out of or in connection with the sales of the goods by McGraw-Hill Education Asia to the customer.
